Mobile Unit Assistant
The American Red Cross is seeking a Mobile Unit Assistant to transport, set up and maintain required supplies, equipment, blood products and samples to and from mobile sites. Qualified applicant will have a HS diploma or GED and good computer skills. Valid Commercial Driver License with good driving record required. Previous truck driving experience preferred. Effective communication and public relations skills, the ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights up or down ramps and stairs and good manual dexterity is required. The ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and the ability to adapt to long, irregular hours and frequent schedule changes is required. This position is approx. 30 hrs/week and offers a full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement).

Phlebotomists, Medical Assistants, LPNs, & RNs
Our Asheville-based Blood Collections Operation is looking for high performing, dedicated Phlebotomists, Medical Assistants, EMTs, RNs, LPNs, and individuals with a BS or AS degree in science or related field to conduct blood drives throughout the western NC area. A successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, venipuncture experience, able to work an irregular and erratic schedule, strong computer skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs, also have a valid DL with a good driving record.
