I grew up mainly in the East End area of town. It was a great place to live. The children liked each other most of the time, and parents, usually a mother and father, cared about all of us.
When I was younger I lived in Lee Walker Heights where parents were good to us. They didn't get angry with each other when we fought or argued. As with many children, if given time, we'd make up and continue our friendships.
Those were the good old days, days that will be long remembered. I'd really like for those of us who lived in various areas of the city to get together and plan reunions. It would be interesting to meet again with people we haven't seen in years.
Yes those were the days but there are ways to relive those days just take time to reminisce on the past and through prayer Ask the Lord to take you back to those good old days when times were simple and Gods grace moved through out
