Residential Subcontractors:

MHO / Mountain Housing Opportunities, Inc. invites skilled subcontractors interested in submitting bids for MHO’s annual “Unit Bid” process for our Emergency Home Repair Program. All work will be done in Buncombe County. Contracts will be awarded using unit pricing that will enable subcontractors to participate in upcoming projects for the following year. 

The following trades are being sought: plumbing, electrical, general carpentry and roofing. General Liability Insurance and Workers Compensation Insurance are required. You must be trained in lead paint safe work practices as they pertain to EPA 40 CFR Part 745  Lead; Renovation, Repair, and Painting Program or must obtain training within 90 days of being awarded the unit bid.
