By T.J. Moore --
Usher is breaking his silence and defending himself against the allegations made by his ex-wife Tameka Foster Raymond.
Last month, the ex-Mrs. Raymond asked a Georgia judge for full custody of their two children, claiming Usher shirked his parental duties, failed to get her permission to travel, and hired nannies without approval.
Now the R&B superstar has filed his response in a Georgia court, asking a judge to reject Tameka’s request for full custody on the grounds of false allegations, and insisting that he is a good father who deserves to see his children.
A trial date has been set for February 27.

Deion Sanders and his wife of 12 years, Pilar
|
Highstepping from potential matrimonial bliss to Divorce Drama of Primetime proportions, NFL Hall Of Famer Deion Sanders and his wife of 12 years, Pilar, filed for divorce recently. A few months ago, Sanders took to his twitter account to deny divorce rumors. Now, “Prime” couldn’t deny the rumors any longer. Sanders allegedly announced the divorce via TMZ, leaving Pilar blindsided and stunned. Her lawyer Larry Friedman told the popular gossip site that “Pilar was heartbroken and surprised when she read that Deion announced his decision on his own to end their marriage.”
Friedman also added that his client’s “sole focus and top priority for the last twelve-and-a-half years has been her marriage and her children, and based on recent discoveries, she now realizes that Deion did not view their family the same way.”
Throughout this ordeal, sans the initial statement, Deion held his peace, but his oldest daughter? Well, that’s another story. Deiondra Sanders slammed her stepmother in the paint via twitter. She unleashed an epic 32-tweet tirade defending her famous father and accusing her step-mom of lying to the press about not knowing about the divorce and of cheating. Here are a few lethal tweets from the meltdown:
“#HowYoTopPriortyBeen Your marriage and your kids when u flying out to see other n———s ... Yeah we know”
“All you do was be a supportive wife. Only thing you’ve ever cared about doing with my dad is reality shows.”
“Pilar stop tryna play the victim. Maybe if you would have actually loved my dad and not loved the life that he gave you, we wouldn’t be here today.”
Ladies and gentlemen, if the Sanders’ drama wasn’t bad enough at this point, Deion recently revealed that he and Pilar still live together. Yes, the divorcing couple are still living under the same roof. According to TMZ, Deion and Pillar will continue to live at the same Prosper, TX residence that they shared even as they go through their divorce proceedings. This home in the suburbs of Dallas is 29,122 square feet and has 10 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms. Now, this is one reality show that’ll be worth watching.
Here’s one for the “Who didn’t see this one coming files.” WEtv, the network that’s given us Braxton Family Values and Bridezillas, is at it again with Tamar and Vince. The network approved eight one-hour episodes, tentatively scheduled to premiere in the fourth quarter of 2012, with production and filming beginning in March.
WEtv President and general manager Kim Martin believes that the Braxton Family Values spinoff will thrive on the network just like its predecessor.
“Tamar and Vince is a great addition to WEtv’s schedule, especially as we expand into a third night of original programming catering to the underserved audience of African American women that love Braxton Family Values. Tamar is a huge part of what made that show such a success, she is completely over the top and our viewers just love her.”
Tamar was ecstatic.com when she learned that she will star in her own show.
“We are so very excited for this amazing opportunity,” Braxton said. “With our family series, Braxton Family Values, we aim to show audiences the true meaning of family and sisterhood, and with our new show, marriage. Our journey as two driving individuals that love as hard as we work is one we think audiences will relate to.”
