'New Generation' Filmmaking Workshop for Students – Free! |

The City of Asheville Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department, and the Department of Mass Communication at the University of North Carolina - Asheville will host New Generation, a free filmmaking workshop for middle and high school students on Saturday, October 24, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the UNCA campus as part of the 7th Annual Asheville Film Festival.
New Generation program participants will work directly with video production students in the mass communication program at UNCA to produce a short film. The New Generation short film will premiere at the Asheville Film Festival, to be held November 12-15, 2009.
