Staff reports

Stories help us make some sense of why we’re here. Stories offer us a way for others to know how we feel and what’s important to us. On Friday, March 19, Asheville Playback Theatre will dedicate their performance to support relief efforts in Haiti. Come tell YOUR story.

What’s Playback?

Improv theater that honors people’s stories.

Will I be dragged on stage?

No, only actors perform and occasionally a request comes.

What else?

A feeling of connection occurs with others in the audience and on stage — a sense of community is created.

Is it comedy?

Can be — or drama, or a dream — it all depends on the story told. So come out and bring friends!

Asheville Playback Theatre at BeBe Theatre, 20 Commerce St. (off Coxe Ave.) Show starts at 8 p.m., doors open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $10 adults, $5 students. No one turned away due to lack of funds if seats are available.
